Kingdom Kids, our children’s ministry, is held after the communion service, just before the morning message. Kingdom Kids do not meet on the first Sunday of the month in order for families to worship together. Children in kindergarten and first grade meet downstairs for service. Children in grades 2-5 meet in room 200 upstairs.

Food Pantry Items: Flour, Sugar, Salt

We have attractive new doors on the front of the building. The doors lock automatically behind you when you leave the building. If you need to be in the building and don’t have a key, please ring the doorbell located on the south door. We are now keeping the building locked for the safety of the staff and others who may be in the building. If you have a key and are in the building, out of courtesy for the office staff, please let them know that you are here.

Camp at Gasconade Christian Service Camp this week: Grades 10-12.

The Quilt Circle will meet on July 9th and July 23rd, from 9:00-12:00. Ladies of all skill levels are invited to join us, and we hope to see you soon. For contact information, please see the sign-up sheet in the foyer.

Camp Help: Our church’s day to provide workers to help in the camp kitchen is July 23. The camp has requested no more than 3-4 people. The workers will help prepare lunch and clean up afterwards. If you would like to help, please sign up in the foyer.

We also need 8 cantaloupes for the campers’ lunch.

We have begun collecting backpacks for the 2025-2026 school year at the Crocker School. We need 150 backpacks. Tubs in which to place the backpacks are in the foyer. They will be given to students at the Back-to-School Fair, which is on August 7 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Crocker School multipurpose room in the elementary building.

We will have a work day on Saturday morning, July 26, to clean downstairs and the main level of the building. Over the years, we have accumulated a great many items that need to be discarded. If you have donated something in the past and would like to keep it, please pick it up by July 26. It may otherwise be placed in the dumpster. In the future, if you have something you wish to donate, please see Roy Peterson or one of the elders.

Christ in Youth, or CIY, a national Christian Conference for teens, will be held on July 19-25. It is an amazing conference which can be life-changing. It is a spiritual experience with teaching, great music and preaching, and time for contemplation and fun activities. Please see Dustin Moss if you are interested in attending.

The July leadership meeting is July 28 at 6:30 p.m.

Upcoming: We will be going to a Springfield Cardinals game on August 1st. We will leave from church at 4:00 p.m. Tickets are $14.00 each. ADAC seats are available if yoy cannot manage the stadium stairs. Please sign up in the foyer if you plan to go to the game.

Upcoming Ladies’ Trip: The ladies are planning a trip to Branson on August 2 to see “David” at the Sight and Sound Theater on August 2. If you wish to go, please sign up in the foyer. See Penny Wells for more information.

Vacation Bible School is scheduled for August 2. Please see Penny Wells for details. If you plan to attend, please sign the sheet on the table in the foyer.

Reminder: There are no meals on Wednesday nights until fall. Wednesday Bible Study for all ages will continue, beginning at 6:30.

Grades 6-7: July 20-25 Grades 8-9: July 13-18 Cost for each if not already registered: $145.
